In 1976, the first tub of Liks’ ice cream was churned out under the founding name Lickety Split. The name has changed but the original dream of creating an atmosphere where family and friends can sit back relax and enjoy our handcrafted ice cream and great conversation has not. Over the years our Capitol Hill location has turned into a destination for local and traveling ice cream lovers alike. We have conjured over three hundred flavors that we serve year round at our two stores and deliver to our wholesale customers along the Front Range and mountain communities.

In 1999, Jay turned in his hard hat as a Petroleum Engineer and dove head first into his dream of serving the most delicious ice cream in Colorado. His passion for the best ingredients and creative imagination has conceived some of the most unique flavors that you will ever taste. LESLIE
Leslie is a dual career woman…English teacher by day and ice cream aficionado by night. During the school year you will find Leslie standing in front of high school students discussing American literature and teaching the importance of proper sentence structure. For summer vacation, you can find Leslie hosting an ice cream party, socializing with our customers, or coaching our employees. Her favorite flavors are Cotton Candy, Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip, and Sleepless. Email Leslie
